July 10: Spillapalooza!

Hipsters, peaceniks and other stewards of our fragile planet will converge on the Leslie Park Pool on July 10th. There's no water in the pool, but what it lacks in H2O will be more than compensated for by:

-Zumbathon (registration at 12noon, starts at 1230pm)
-African drum & dance with Aboubacar Camara
-Joy Ike
-Mother Sun and Friends
-DJ Soy Sos
-Boca Chica
-Steve Sarro from the National Aviary will discuss cleanup and conservation efforts from his very intimate experience.
-Zumba instructors
Neda Story from Latin RhythmZ
Lesa and Ian Parker
Cat Brennan
Paula Soto
-$10 for the day without Zumba
-$10 for just Zumba participation
-$20 for both

-Fun and educational stuff for the kids and their adults.

All proceeds will benefit the Gulf Restoration Network (www.healthygulf.org), a grass roots transparency advocate deeply involved in informing the public and clean up groups about what is really going on in the Gulf. Please add your voice to our collective proclamation that these tragic events are unacceptable!

12-9 p.m. at the Leslie Park Pool, Butler & 46th Streets in Lawrenceville.
